An Update
Quote from Taylor Warden on September 22, 2025, 1:43 pmSo, as I have been a public figure in the Ripple Consensus Ledger for over a decade, this update thread is much needed about myself.
I can no longer stand and walk, everybody. What happened was on the 25th of June 2024, my left kidney was removed by a Dr. Gou at the St. Joseph’s Charlton Campus Hospital. I did not suffer any complications, it was just found I could not stand and ambulate, an I have since traded up my manual wheelchair for a power wheelchair.
I used to be capabable of my care at the residential care facility I was residing at, but then mid April this year, I took opiates without a prescription to deal with severe, severe pain from many wounds I have been treating. The PSW on duty that night thought I was having a stroke, so I went to Hamilton General Hospital. I had suffered nerve compression in the left arm and hand. My left hand is bunk, it barely functions, I cannot make a fist.
I now am living at the St. Peter’s Hospital in the Medically Complex Care unit as a crisis case awaiting placement at a long term care facility, as I cannot safely transfer from my bed to the wheelchair, I require a hoister lift and personal support workers trained in transfers. I have already received one denial letter from a LTC home out of the 4 selections I had made. I have been in hospital for a long time and I do not know when I will return to life within the community.
So for now I work on my projects and await good news on my upcoming living arrangements.
Your prayers would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
