FXRP vs. mXRP

In a nutshell, regarding the mXRP vs. FXRP debate.

mXRP uses “market-neutral, yield-paying strategies” which include liquidity provisioning, market-making, arbitrage, etc. The strategies are managed by risk curators (e.g. Hyperithm) and aim for yields in the 6-8 % APY range in XRP, net of fees.

That’s yield from trading. A.k.a. not for me.

And since mXRP uses smart contracts on XRPL EVM and cross-chain bridging, there are the usual DeFi risks: bugs, hacks, mis-implementation and bridging.

FXRP’s main safety and security advantage is that it’s fully collateralized and decentralized through Flare’s FAssets framework, with agents posting collateral and smart contracts enforcing redemptions, reducing reliance on centralized custodians.
