Ripple co-founder delivers cannon fodder to "dislike XRP"

CNBC reports that Ripple chairman and co-founder Chris Larsen joins some 88 other high-profile business leaders to endorse U.S. Vice President Kamala Harris for president.

That’s considered a shocking move for many in the XRP community. Lest we forget, Ripple has endured a multi-year securities lawsuit under the current U.S. administration, with Harris serving as vice president and her not making a single pro-crypto statement. Her opponent Donald Trump, on the contrary, wants to turn the U.S. into the center for bitcoin and the world’s leading market place for blockchain development.

The SEC v. Ripple lawsuit has been ongoing since December 2020. The price of XRP remains supressed, and many XRP propenents suggest Larsen’s endorsement of Harris doesn’t help Ripple and XRP the least.

One of the online news reports on the matter is titled “Crypto Founder Highlights New Reason to Dislike XRP.”

BTW Chris Larsen, Kamala Harris has just posted her policy positions on her website. There is no mention of digital assets, crypto or blockchain technology anywhere in her ”New Way Forward.” We knew already. You should also have known, Mr. Larsen.
